Adults can lea to play piano You are well past puberty and have always had a desire to tickle the ivory? Maybe you do not have the money, like a child. Or your family was always moving. Or probably not even know there was such a wonderful thing, as the piano. Whatever the reason, it is never too late to start. Really! I began my quest to lea to play the big piano at age of 24. I had always wanted to play, but was too busy pursuing my other interests, including the gym. Are still not sure I knew the names, but in all my innocence, after receiving a keyboard from my father for my birthday, I ran and bought the first book of method that I use to. E 'stata la Alfred Chord Series, and I have done all the way through book 3 before finding a piano teacher.Meanwhile I was asked by my church pianist. What follows is 10 years of struggle, adventure and leaing opportunities that have shaped me, what I am today. A pianist, I had not intended to be a classical musician. I just wanted to play music. And I did. I played at weddings, such as piano lessons, and I have still the church pianist. I also have the guitar to my list of capabilities. I am tempted to say, do not let age, or even stop time. Most people think that I studied as a child. And I know more music theory for many college piano major. As an adult, makes you unique INA in a position to know what you want to lea and how.
