Target s perception of Songs
Target s perception of Songs Everyone knows that songwriters do not make a song without a written and the music is totally craft texts. But the interaction between music and text in a song raises two issues. The first is what is important and the second is that it must come first. However, the second question is not really a problem because it is simply a matter of personal preference and habits. The question that really needs to answer is in fact the first: "What is important?" To answer this question, we must consider the public perception of songs. Songs are for people to know, so that the way they identify with the songs of the utmost importance and of crucial importance for the process of songwriting. A good songwriter should consider your audience in advance, and thus the shape of the song as good as possible for the audience. As I belong to Weste music education (classical music) and the oriental music from birth (from Egypt), I-as I could, the perception of songs by both Arab and European listeners listeners. My conclusion is that these two very different cultures, different people distorted. The Arab culture and heritage is based heavily on the poetry and music was banal. Consequently, for the Arabic text, and music listeners in the first place is a vehicle for the melodic, the text with the fewest possible agreement. Songs primarily for Arabic listeners! On the other hand, the musical heritage of Europe is a huge number of brilliant composers who always remembered. At the same time, Europe is of great poets, the kind of language, which today takes a lot of simplification to understand. The music reached a European audience before the text! So, this means that you can write "bad" texts for the public and away with him! Absolutely NO! They finally catch up. In addition, Arabic is not listeners hear a song with bad music. The idea is that if the public is less attention to the texts, then they would not "appreciate" a collection of poetry. In reality, they would not have understood and labeled as "bad." It is a "good" but not "complex." This is complexity. Arab listeners to tune in to a beautiful form, and that the texts. It 'too good, but not complex! My mother thinks that the Dvorak "New World Symphony" is "strong" that music should be. I think that means "too complicated for the music." In contrast, European listeners will not be with a beautiful melody, you must have a strong agreement progressions, a powerful base and a strong drum line . Then, write texts much more complicated for the Arab audience and more complicated for the European music listeners. OWN study the audience and see what they like and what they are partly distorted, so that you know how your song complexity. But beware, sometimes "less complicated" means "more difficult to write" ... Wish you simply Songwriting!
